Welcome
to the Rocket Science home page. We are developing a host of science
fair projects on the topic of design, modeling, and vacuum Induction Melting
and Casting of liquid propellant rocket engine systems. Building on existing
technologies of design tools, manufacturing processes, and a strong
computing environment we will design and test our rocket engine systems.
The projects will explore many fields of science and engineering principles
to solve design challenges and develop the rocket engine systems. Many of
NASA's design software have been modified along with the development of a
design environment to allow for the tools to work together under our
computing environment. With the new software and design environment, we are
able to save our data and design results along with tool revision control
under one single project database. In this way, it becomes easy to open the
database for debugging, future enhancements, or simply perform what if
studies.
Progress indicators, proposals, and reports, and various resources will be
posted and tracked on this website for those curious. We also have a help
page for those who can donate components, equipment, or materials. |
